  1. This is a legal agreement between you, the end user, and TIME & TECHNOLOGY, INC.  The 
  2. enclosed HandLink  software program (the Software) is licensed by TIME & 
  3. TECHNOLOGY, INC. to the original customer and any subsequent transferee of the 
  4. product for use only on the terms set forth herein.  Please read this license agreement.  
  5. Opening the diskette package indicates that you accept these terms.  If you do not agree 
  6. to these terms, return the full product with proof of purchase to your dealer within 7 
  7. days for a full refund. 
  8.  
  9. GRANT OF LICENSE: (single-user): TIME & TECHNOLOGY, INC. grants you (1) the right to 
  10. use one copy of the enclosed SOFTWARE  on a single personal computer, and (2) the right 
  11. to use the SOFTWARE on more than one computer, but only if you first erase the 
  12. SOFTWARE from the first computer's hard disk (or comparable storage device).  You may 
  13. not have the SOFTWARE loaded onto the hard disks of two or more computers at the 
  14. same time unless you have purchased a copy of the SOFTWARE for all computers on which 
  15. it is stored, or purchased a network license, nor may you use diskettes to run the 
  16. SOFTWARE if it is stored on another computer's hard disk.

  18. GRANT OF LICENSE: (network):  TIME & TECHNOLOGY, INC. grants you (1) the right to 
  19. install the enclosed SOFTWARE on a single network server at a single physical location, 
  20. and (2) the right to use the SOFTWARE simultaneously from the previously licensed and 
  21. registered number of workstations physically attached to and running off of the server.  
  22. You may not load the SOFTWARE onto the hard drive of any computer other than network 
  23. server, unless the software is erased from the network server's hard disk, nor may you 
  24. operate the software except from the network server's hard disk. 
  25.  
  26. COPYRIGHT:  The SOFTWARE is owned by TIME & TECHNOLOGY, INC.  and is protected by 
  27. United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions.  You may make archival 
  28. copies of the SOFTWARE solely for backup purposes provided that you reproduce all 
  29. copyright and other proprietary notices that are on the original copy of the SOFTWARE 
  30. provided to you.  You may not copy the written materials accompanying the SOFTWARE.

  32. OTHER RESTRICTIONS:  You may not rent or lease the SOFTWARE, but you may transfer 
  33. the SOFTWARE and accompanying written materials in their entirety on a permanent 
  34. basis provided you retain no copies.  You may not reverse engineer, decompile, 
  35. disassemble, or create derivative works from the SOFTWARE. 
  36.  
  37. EXPORT LAW ASSURANCES:  You agree that neither the SOFTWARE nor any direct 
  38. product thereof is being or will be acquired, shipped, transferred or  reexported, 
  39. directly or indirectly, into any country prohibited by the United States Export 
  40. Administration Act (the Act) and the regulations thereunder.

  42. LIMITED WARRANTY: The diskette(s) and manual that make up this software package are 
  43. warranted by TIME & TECHNOLOGY,  INC. to be free from defects in materials or 
  44. workmanship under normal use for ninety days from date of purchase as shown on your 
  45. invoice.  TIME & TECHNOLOGY,  INC.'S entire liability, and the sole remedy in the event of a 
  46. defect is limited to replacement of the diskette(s) as provided above, or, if TIME & 
  47. TECHNOLOGY,  INC. is unable to replace the defective diskette(s), to refund the purchase 
  48. price.  Apart from the foregoing limited warranty, the SOFTWARE is provided "AS IS," 
  49. without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied.  The entire risk as to 
  50. performance of the SOFTWARE is with the purchaser.  TIME & TECHNOLOGY,  INC. 
  51. assumes no responsibility or liability of any kind for errors in the programs or printed 
  52. and electronic documentation of/for the consequences of any such errors. 
  53.  
  54. GENERAL:  This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, except 
  55. for that body of law dealing with conflicts of law.
